Mattiel – ‘Satis Factory’

Mattiel’s critically acclaimed second album Satis Factory was released on June 14th 2019.

First pressing is a limited edition neon yellow vinyl version. All vinyl comes with a download. Limited CDs come in a translucent green case, exclusive to the Heavenly store.

Mattiel released a debut self-titled album on Heavenly in July 2018 after the label fell head over heels in love with the record following its initial release on Californian label, Burger Records, in the autumn of 2017. Backed by an incredible band anchored by Jonah Swilley, a run of sold-out shows across Europe effortlessly proved them to be one of the most exciting, modern rock acts around.

Despite Satis Factory being recorded in exactly the same way, with exactly the same team behind Mattiel’s debut, the sound is noticeably different. “We started working on Mattiel's first record with a dusty, cinematic, and garage rock feel to the music,” he explains. “Satis Factory has more stylistic diversity with the musical compositions and an increased level of intensity.”
