An all-female four piece from the Nagoua region of Japan; they joined the Heavenly Recordings family following a live performance at SXSW. , CHAI’s lyrics focus on self-empowerment and re-defining “kawaii”, the popular Japanese aesthetic of “cuteness” which can be applied to almost every form of art and culture imaginable.
